Part of me thinks she had to have asked the owner to adjust the machine, but the other half that understands the mechanics knows that they're generally manually adjusted via a pressure control inside the machine, and (while its certainly possible) I've never heard of someone installing a remote adjustment control. Because why would they? They can just adjust it during off-hours, but they're generally a set-it-and-forget-it deal
