The ages here are screwed up. It says that when they first met GJ was 23 and SQ was 14. But GJ has been repeatedly stated as being 30, 7 years older, and having been gone for 9 years. It was also stated that she was SQ's tutor for 4 years. So when they met, it should have been 17 and 10 (although an earlier chapter said SQ was 9 iirc). The ages mentioned here are contradicted by every bit of prior info on the timeline :/
